From Kindness to Love- Timber and Wendi's Journey to Furrever
Enter the world of Timber and Wendi, as we talk about snowfall, smiles and superheroes...

The first time we saw Timber's photo we couldn't help but smile seeing Timber's Smile. It takes a rare power to make someone smile, and Timber does it by just being him. From one ear sticking down to the goofiest smile we have seen you can't help but fall in love with the pup. We don't gatekeep, here is the sweetest Timber's Profile to add lots of cheerfulness to your feed.
And we were lucky enough to have a chat with Timber and Wendi and found out how they fit into each other's life

Being a Pet Parent is something incomparable that changes our whole life. Can you share your journey to becoming a dog parent?
Wendi: Timber is our first dog together that we adopted from a no-kill shelter. We never expected that he would fit so perfect into our lifestyle as young adults with college and part time jobs, but he has been an absolute angel and still proves that to us every day. When we went to the shelter, we immediately fell in love with him when he greeted us with the happiest smile. We could tell he was so excited to come home to his furever family when he did a little happy dance.
Every pet parent and their pet share those magical moments they cherish their whole life. Can you share a such heartwarming story about you and your pup?
Wendi: One of my favourite memories together with Timber is when we spent our first winter together. Since he was a husky mix, we figured that he would enjoy the snow outside. He was a bit sceptical at first but soon learned how to have fun and roll around with us. It was such a precious moment seeing him figure out how much he loved being in the snow.

Hearing Wendi talk about the beautiful magical moment makes us feel warm and wish were there.
Dogs are the most loyal companion we have. We certainly believe they inspire us to do better and be happier. How does your dog inspire you?
Wendi: My dog inspires me every day by reminding me that there’s always something to smile about. Seeing his sweet smile instantly makes my day better when I have hard days. I like to think of him as a therapy dog, except he’s not certified. When I get home from a long day, he runs up to me and throws himself on my lap for belly rubs even though he might’ve been bored when I left him at home. Just like that, he is always super grateful and overall just a happy boy

Timber definitely loves to make everyone happy. And hearing Wendi talk about Timber makes us smile and overjoyed hearing love they share.
We are obsessed with superheroes and dogs, so much that we wrote a comic- Superpups. We couldn't help but wonder If your dog had a superhero alter ego, what superpower would they have?
If Timber had a superhero alter ego, I think he would have the ability to fly. He likes to chase birds and sometimes even jumps into bushes to scare out the birdies that hide in there when we go on walks. If he could fly, he would definitely be chasing birds and flying himself to the dog park.

This is something we would love to see- Especially him chasing the birds and the bird's shock at seeing him.
Adopting a dog brings many changes to someone's Life. So can you share any advice for someone thinking of adopting a dog?
Wendi: My advice for someone who is thinking about adopting is to have patience when getting your dog adjusted to their new home at first. When we first adopted Timber, he would have a bad habit of demanding food by barking and trying to sneak his way out the front door when we leave home. The more we corrected this behaviour, the better it got. Eventually, at this point, he can go do his own thing while we’re eating at the table and now has stopped trying to squeeze out the front door.
We couldn't stop discussing all the pawsome things and obsessing over Timber. Hope this conversation brings a smile to your face. Don't forget to follow Timber for your daily dose of cheerfulness and joy!
